Background

Totesport were originally founded in 1928, offering Pools on Horse Racing, after it was allowed by Parliament. ‘The tote’ now have over 450 high street shops and can still be found at all UK & Irish racecourses. Tote BetXpress was the name of their first online attempt in 2002, with Totesport being officially launched in 2004.

As far as the markets go, Cricket, Football and Tennis are well represented but other markets are limited. They do sometimes come up with some cracking specials and they have a decent In-Play service. However, Horse Racing is the main focus, with options such as SP, fixed price, totewin and toteplace.

The website is simple and uncomplicated. While this isn’t a big problem, some of the pages can be slow to load, which makes it frustrating if you’re trying to put a bet on quickly.
